Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 2025

This privacy policy describes how Jarvis (“we”, “the service”) handles information when you use the Jarvis personal assistant, including the Microsoft Teams bot, SMS/voice channels, and the optional iMessage app extension.

What Jarvis is

Jarvis is a personal productivity assistant that helps the account owner manage tasks, priorities, and a “parking lot” list. When you message the Jarvis bot (e.g. in Teams), use the iMessage extension, or when the owner uses SMS/voice, that input is processed to add or update items on the owner’s lists.

Information we process

How we use and store data

Data is used only to operate the assistant: to add or update tasks and parking lot items, to generate replies, and to maintain conversation history for the account owner. Transcripts and list data are stored in a secure database (Supabase) in the cloud. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Who can see the data

Only the Jarvis account owner (and systems they control) can access their lists and transcripts. Messages you send via the Teams bot are attributed to you (e.g. by name) so the owner knows who added an item.

Retention and your choices

Transcripts and list data are retained to support the assistant’s operation. If you want to avoid having your messages stored, do not send messages to the Jarvis bot. The account owner can request deletion of their data by contacting the operator of the service.

Third-party services

We use Microsoft (Teams, Azure), Twilio (SMS/voice), OpenAI (language processing), and Supabase (database). Their respective privacy policies apply to data they process. Data is only shared as needed to run the service.

Contact

For privacy-related questions about Jarvis, contact the operator of the service at the website or contact details provided with the app.
